Mumbai is one of the only city in the world to practice all the varieties of Indian Classical, Folk & Western Dance.

Nrityalika Dance Institute operating from Mumbai teaches certain styles of Dances in both Classical, Folk & Western Dances IN and OUT of Mumbai in the form of common small group classes.

'Nrityalika' has been conducting 'Bharatnatyam' & 'Folk Dance' classes on an institutional system for the last fifteen years successfully in various places of Mumbai . Nallasopara , Panvel , Nashik and Malegaon , under guidance of Smt. Kishu Pal.

Our dance classes started in the year 1986 and efforts led to the successful running of twenty seven branches in a period of 15 years. The main thrust in conducting Dance classes has been on providing it at affordable fee as against the huge fees taken by most of the classes that fall under this category.

The teaching system is absolutely planned to let the student acquire both Theory and Performing art side by side equally . The reference book provided helps students to update their knowledge & parents of junior class students may take revisions of the shlokas for proper pronunciations at home if possible .

The various small cultural functions held thought the year in regular classes helps in increasing the cultural awareness of the students , which is the need of the day.

'Western Dance ' has also organizing by 'Nrityalika Dance' from last one year .
